Linda Neal is one of the country's most accomplished silhouette artists.  She can continually snip profile silhouettes in minutes, or may spend hours designing and cutting complex pictures out of one piece of black paper, called scherenschnitte. 

When you hire her for special programs or parties, she can wear her civil war period dress, tell about the history of silhouettes, and how she discovered this artistic gift.  Special pricing is available for schools and churches, or arrange-ments can be made to help you with a fundraisers.  Standard prices for private gatherings are $150/hour plus transportation, food and lodging if needed.  She has presented private programs in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Florida, and Texas.

Profile silhouettes can be done from photos by e-mailing pictures to her.  Just send a profile picture with the right side of the face toward the camera and make certain the head is not cropped or lost in shadow.  Each silhouette is mounted on a 5"X7" card with name and date, signed by the artist.  The original cut is $20, duplicates are $5.00 each.  Special frames and mats are available on inquiry.
